THE MAKING OF
BETTIE PAGE UNCENSORED
PART5 - The MOVIE!

BETTIE PAGE UNCENSORED -- THE MAKING OF THE UNAUTHORIZED MOVIE #1

Here’s a look at the behind-the-scenes goings-on during the making of BETTIE PAGE UNCENSORED. The unauthorized play has been expanded in scope, size and story with more characters and some surprises for even the jaded Bettie fan.

And yes, Sarah Masters returns as Bettie Page, whom you may have seen on the Playboy Sexcetera show in the episode on the play that keeps re-running.

There may or may not be big-budget Hollywood films coming out on Page, but there certainly isn’t another one coming out from a Bettie fan of thirty-five years, adapted by Mark Henderson and myself from a play that ran over forty weeks in Chicago.  I’m Michael Flores and allow me to take you on a tour of rehearsals, costume fittings and photo shoots that I captured, along with a few shots from our photographer, Debbie Brucker.

“Hey, you call this writing?”  Left to right: Tammy Stackpoole,
Amanda Hiese, Robyn Krass.

Tammy tries to figure out why guys
follow her to rehearsal. . .and
why the director follows her home.

Robert Fox, who portrays pop culture
censor Frederick Wertham, drops by
rehearsal on the way to his day job.

Sarah (with Ryan Pfeiffer, who plays Bettie’s beau Armand)
examines the contract’s fine print.

I will never forget this photo session as
long as I live. Now you won’t either.

Our indefatigable photographer, Debbie Brucker.

Melissa Lipuma, our makeup and hair
specialist, with Beverly Coscarelli, who
plays an advisor to Estes Kefauver.
Watch out for that bird above, girls!

No comment necessary.

Ditto.

C’mon Mike, are you sure people
dressed like this? (Ryan)

Hey, let’s hide Mike’s beer!  (Tammy)

Felicity Hesed plays Paula Klaw with humor and sexiness.

Yeah, Flores, I can take you!  (Amanda)

Robyn Krass plays Anna, a foreign model
caught up in the fetish picture racket. I think
you’ll agree with me that she dresses up really good.

More Sarah than you can handle!

Coming up next for me is a new live show, AU GO GO, the story of go-go dancers in 1965 (gee, are you starting to notice a pattern?)  More on that show, which will be opening at a downtown nightclub at the end of April.

The next installment in this series will be an interview with Sarah Masters (with some super-hot pictures).  To sign up to be informed when the movie is available for purchase, drop us your mailing address and e-mail to psycho@psychotronic.info
