Shhh...

 

This recipe is stolen from a group of martini lovers by the popular culture terrorist group The Wrecking Crew. I have tried it and it really is the best! Even if it does take 48 hours to drink! Good to have on hand at any party. Although I personally cannot condone thee tactics and philosophy of The Wrecking Crew and offshoots such as The Doom Squad. I do enjoy a great martini.

 

1 bottle gin

1 magic marker

1 dry vermouth olives/hot Brussel sprouts/etc.

 

Mark the liquid level of the gin with the marker. Put in the freezer. Twenty-four hours later take out the bottle. There will have been evaporation. Pour the vermouth into the gin bottle up to the line. Put the gin back in the freezer for another 24 hours. Take it out and pour! add your favorite garnish.

Mike has received several e-mails after his honeymoon at the Las Vegas Grind from folks who say vodka seems to work best with this process. Glad you folks are testing
